THE ULTIMATE ECOUNTER ZONE
Micophones | cables | loudspeakers |
Tallin Art Hall | Tallin| Estonia | 2011

Four Microphones are capturing the sound produced by the following artworks:
- «Lights on off» Martin Creed.
-«Soundmirrorpath 2011» Bernard Leitner.
-«Video Work» John Wood, Paul Harrison.
-«Infinite Artworks» Kiwa.

This work embraces the space through sound and light, as aesthetic and affec-
tive realities in themselves. Subverting the visual with the auratic, the installati-
on reverberates an echo to expose scale as one of architecture’s most operative
devices.
Rather than merely occupying its exhibition space, the artwork inhabits the
architecture of the art hall, absorbing its infrastructure and engaging its spati-
al logic and at the same time deleting its architectural references to reach the
inner space of the viewer.
„The ultimate encounter zone“ is installed into the last room of the exhibition
and I reify it as sort of reference zone, the ultimate conclusion of the exhibition
concept and exhibited works, creation of an ambiance where immaterialised co-
mes materialised. Invisible comes visible, or other words comes sensible.
